I've been doing chi kung for many years and have a good library on the subject. I would rate this book among the top five in my collection. It's well written, well illustrated and contains a very effective set of exercises. There's also a lot of supplementary material which will be of interest to chi kung enthusiasts.

On the minus side, the title is a little off-putting, and in my Kindle version the chapter headings are not linked to the text, which makes navigation difficult. I wish authors would have their e-books properly formatted.

However, these criticisms are minor. On the whole, this is an excellent primer on chi kung.

I should point out that I have no connection to the author and in fact had never heard of him until I bought the book. I look forward to his next book.
